PZWI Community Advisory Board
The project is initiated by convening the Advisory Board. The primary role of the Board will be to guide PZWI’s planning, implementation and evaluation by establishing the knowledge, skills and competencies needed by the maternal/child health providers to successfully provide oral health services for pregnant women. They will draw from 5 Interprofessional Oral Health Core Clinical Domains and Competencies developed by NNOHA (2015), to create competencies appropriate for CHC providers. They will support a communication plan to ensure that information and data are disseminated to the stakeholders. The Board will guide communication with the target population, PIOHQI National Learning Network and other health agencies. They also provide input into the content for the women’s education and oral health toolkit.
