Professional Education Programs(PEP) is dedicated to providing quality student teaching experiences for students, mentor teachers, university supervisors, and the schools who host Northern Arizona University students. We encourage you to visit us on the NAU Mountain Campus or online for more information.<\/p>\n

Student Teaching is a required course for all students in a student teaching experience. \u00a0Registration is required. \u00a0Your degrees and institutional recommendations are based upon successful completion of a teacher education program with certification in an appropriate placement.<\/p>\n

Student teaching requirements for degree programs leading to teacher certification are listed in the\u00a0NAU Catalog<\/a>. The requirements are listed on the Details tab under the heading Teacher Preparation.<\/p>\n

Student teaching application<\/h2>\n

Submit your student teaching application here<\/a>. Applications are due one year prior to your anticipated student teaching term. Spring placement applications are due March 15, and Fall placement applications are due October 15. Please note that you must meet with your academic or faculty advisor prior to submitting your application.<\/p>\n
