Northern Arizona University (NAU) offers multiple programs to prepare teachers and school leaders, counselors, and psychologists to meet Arizona’s certification requirements.<\/p>\n

Graduates of NAU’s programs meeting state licensure requirements are provided with an Institutional Recommendation (IR)<\/a> upon completion of the program. NAU graduates are highly sought after for positions in schools and districts. NAU Professional Education Programs (PEP) are\u00a0nationally accredited<\/a>\u00a0through the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) programs. NAU\u2019s programs leading to licensure are also approved by the Arizona State Board of Education.<\/p>\n\n
