The Community Relations staff is dedicated to the education of everyone that is a part of the NAU campus and the Flagstaff community.\u00a0The program utilizes crime prevention presentations to provide the NAU community with the information and techniques to minimize the possibility of becoming a crime victim. Presentations are held throughout the campus in residence halls, academic buildings and business offices. Examples of presentations include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drug Education<\/li>\n<li>Alcohol Awareness<\/li>\n<li>Burglary and Theft Prevention<\/li>\n<li>Domestic\/Relationship Violence<\/li>\n<li>Harassing and Obscene Phone Calls<\/li>\n<li>Arson and Fire Safety<\/li>\n<li>Sexual Assault<\/li>\n<li>Violence in the Workplace<\/li>\n<li>Winter Driving Tips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Northern Arizona Law Enforcement &#8211; Citizen&#8217;s Police Academy<\/h2>\n<p>There are two sessions of the Citizens\u2019 Police and Sheriff Academy per year. Generally, they start the first week of September and the middle of February and they last for 12 weeks with classes every Wednesday from 6-9PM. There are a few Saturday and Thursday sessions as well.
