Talk to them!<\/strong>\u00a0If you brush things that bother you under the rug, nothing will ever get solved. But if you are upfront with your roommate, you guys might have a chance to get things fixed sooner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Set ground rules!<\/strong>\u00a0If you and your roommate just aren\u2019t clicking, setting ground rules can be a life saver: set \u201clights out\u201d for a certain time; don\u2019t eat each others food without asking; clean up after yourself, etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Find a quiet place on campus!<\/strong>\u00a0If you have a noisy roommate, but you have a huge test to study for, finding a sanctuary that is just yours can be vital to surviving.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Make sure you have other friends!<\/strong>\u00a0Sometimes you just can\u2019t stand to be in the same room as your roommate, so you need to cool down.
