It\u2019s cheap and easy to make, but after a while, it can get repetitive and boring. Here a few tips and tricks to elevate your ramen from basic to brilliant. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-landscape-image wp-image-1769 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/176\/ramen2-464x348.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"464\" height=\"348\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tips: <\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Add some chicken stock (or any other kind of stock) to the water. This helps add flavor to the broth and to the noodles.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After you add the flavor packet, also add some of your own spices. I really like to add garlic powder and onion powder, it adds more depth to the broth and cuts the saltiness of it.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can also add sesame oil to the broth but do so sparingly because sesame oil is a very strong flavor. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add fresh vegetables like chopped scallion\/green onion, spinach, or dried seaweed for added color and texture. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you like spicy food add Sriracha or any of your other favorite hot sauces. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add a hard-boiled egg, and if you have time you can marinate the egg in a mixture of soy sauce and mirin (that\u2019s why the eggs in ramen are brown). <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can also just eat the noodles without the broth. One recipe I like is to take cooked ramen noodles, add in the flavor packet along with butter and sriracha. They are super creamy and delicious <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I hope these tips help upgrade your ramen.
