In order to make sure our skin is as flawless as our outfit we must take really good care of it! Here are the steps I take in order to take care of my skin:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1.) Exfoliate<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-1437 size-portrait-image\" src=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/176\/blogpic1-5-300x450.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"450\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 2.) Cleanse<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 3.) Tone <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4.) Moisturize <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5.) Protect<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The products I use are Mary Kay and these can be pretty expensive, but as long as you use them according to the instructions they should last you quite a bit. This does not mean that you must purchase expensive products in order to have clear skin, I recommend St. Ives, which I used all through high school. I also like to use face masks but only every Sunday and Wednesday night, because facemasks are used for one of two things, to moisturize your face or to soak out the excess oil in your face.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Having a good skin care routine does not protect against stress acne, hormonal acne, the occasional breakout or the cursed words\u2026 \u201cWow, my skin looks really clear\u201d. I don\u2019t know why but every time I notice my skin looks nice, if I say the cursed words I will break out the next morning. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you\u2019re starting a new skin care routine, your skin will freak out at first but if you stick with it, you will see the results you\u2019re looking for!
