students who graduate prior to travel are not eligible.<\/li>\n<li>The applicant(s)&nbsp;<strong>MUST&nbsp;<\/strong>have already received written confirmation from the sponsoring organization of the applicant&rsquo;s acceptance to make a presentation, attend, receive an award, or compete.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>NOTE: <\/strong>Students may receive only one travel award per academic year (July 1 &ndash; June 30).&nbsp; A maximum of two students will be funded for group travel or to present the same research poster for a collaborative project.<\/p>\n\n\n    <\/body><\/html>\n\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n        <!-- shortcode-accordion -->\n<div class=\"shortcode-accordion shortcode-accordion--closed\" style=\"position: relative;\" >\n        <h4 class=\"shortcode-accordion__header\">\n        <button type=\"button\" class=\"shortcode-accordion__trigger\" data-header=\"Application_2\" id=\"shortcode-accordion-2-trigger\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"shortcode-accordion-2-panel\">\n            Application\n            <span class=\"shortcode-accordion__header__arrow\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n        <\/button>\n    <\/h4>\n    <div class=\"shortcode-accordion__body\" id=\"shortcode-accordion-2-panel\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"shortcode-accordion-2-trigger\" inert>\n        <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC \"-\/\/W3C\/\/DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional\/\/EN\" \"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/REC-html40\/loose.dtd\">\n<html><body>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Complete applications are reviewed on the 15th of each month, for travel that occurs after the 1st of the following month&nbsp;(e.g., If your travel is in March, your application is due no later than February 15).<\/li>\n<li>Students are encouraged to&nbsp;apply for an Undergraduate Student Travel Award as soon as the acceptance to present is received&nbsp;from the conference organization.<\/li>\n<li>Complete the <a href=\"http:\/\/nau.co1.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_2lUbEXLTFXhgG0Z\">online application<\/a>, which includes:\n<ul>\n<li>Statement of benefit to student to attend\/present<\/li>\n<li>Proposed budget<\/li>\n<li>PDF copy of proof of acceptance\/invitation from the sponsoring organization<\/li>\n<li>PDF copy of your current unofficial transcript confirming enrollment in the semester when travel will occur<\/li>\n<li><strong>Group application only:<\/strong>&nbsp;PDF document listing all student participants, their email addresses, and academic status (e.g., undergraduate or graduate)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Once you submit your application, an email request will automatically be sent to your faculty mentor requesting they complete the faculty portion of the request.
