{"id":6417,"date":"2025-01-13T10:11:12","date_gmt":"2025-01-13T17:11:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nau.edu\/undergraduate-research\/?page_id=6417"},"modified":"2026-03-24T15:28:52","modified_gmt":"2026-03-24T15:28:52","slug":"hnasrp","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/office-undergraduate-research\/hnasrp\/","title":{"rendered":"Honors Native American Summer Research Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Honors Native American Summer Research Program<\/h1>\n<hr role=\"separator\" class=\"hr--transparent hr--transparent-30px not-in-view\">\n<p>All currently enrolled undergraduate 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year students who identify with <strong>Native American, Native Hawaiian\/Pacific Islander, or Alaska Native<\/strong> heritage are encouraged to apply for the Researcher Award and\/or the Summer Peer Mentor and Community Assistant Position below. The Researchers and Peer Mentor form a living and learning community on the Flagstaff Mountain Campus during the Summer First 5-week Session. The Researcher award includes the cost of tuition for 3 credits of independent research with a faculty mentor, a single room in the Honors Residential Hall, and a meal plan.
