We are excited to announce that we have rescheduled the 4th Annual Professional Development Day for Friday, March 24, 2023, at the High Country Conference Center!

Please register by Tuesday, March 14 to attend the full in-person program, which includes a continental breakfast and lunch/keynote address. Please note that you must re-register if you previously registered for the original date. Registration is open until Thursday, March 23, but space at the lunch and keynote is not guaranteed if you register after March 14.

Parking is free and doors open at the High Country Conference Center at 8:00 a.m. See updated event schedule and descriptions.

Meet the Keynote Speaker Accordion Closed

Veroncia Hipolito 

Veronica Hipolito is the Vice President of Student Affairs at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. She is an innovative leader with over twenty-five years of experience in higher education in university and community college settings.  She recently served as the Interim President of Scottsdale Community College with the Maricopa Community College District. Before her work with MCCCD, she served as the Chief Student Affairs Officer for Coconino Community College and began her career at Northern Arizona University in the division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs. Ms. Hipolito leads efforts to increase access to education and strengthen student success through equity-minded policy and strategy development, community partnership, and cross-divisional effort.   

She is active in the community and has served on several boards, including the Chandler Education Foundation and the United Way of Northern Arizona Board of Directors. In 2018, Ms. Hipolito was presented with the Coconino County Hispanic Advisory Council Cesar Chavez Community Leadership Award for her service to the community. In 2021, Ms. Hipolito was inducted into the Northern Arizona University College of Education Hall of Fame for her contributions to education and received the NAU President’s Alumni Award in 2022. 

Ms. Hipolito is a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a Master of Arts in Community Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.
