Benefit-eligible faculty and staff can sign up for payroll deduction to have the price deducted over five or ten pay periods or the academic year.<\/p>\n<p>Employee passes are $380, an increase of $30 over last year. The rate for the central campus garage also has increased to $485, which is $35 more than last year.<\/p>\n<p>The rate increase will help fund the construction of a new parking garage on San Francisco Street. Parking fees also fund shuttle services, parking lot maintenance, motorist assistance and maintenance of the central campus garage.<\/p>\n<p>Those seeking an economical and ecofriendly way to get to work may take advantage of the free\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/stage.headlessnauedu-b6hgdzckfdgxgzhe.westus-01.azurewebsites.net\/pick-up-an-ecopass-and-ride-mountain-line-for-free\/\">ecoPASS program<\/a>, which allows NAU employees to ride\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mountainline.az.gov\/nau_connection.htm\">Mountain Line<\/a>\u00a0buses at no charge. The 2011-12 ecoPASS currently is available at Parking Services.<\/p>\n<p>Faculty, staff and students should order their 2011-12 parking permits by Aug. 15.
