The fellowships are awarded to women scholars completing doctoral dissertations, conducting postdoctoral research or finishing research for publication. Graves is studying the spatial ecology of the largest population of grizzly bears in the continental United States, in the northern Rockies of Montana. The fellowship includes a $20,000 grant that will allow Graves to focus on her research that will help conserve grizzly bear and other wildlife populations. Information on the association\u2019s 2011 awards is\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aauw.org\/media\/pressreleases\/fgaRecipients_072811.cfm\">online<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>NAU alums\u00a0<strong>Greg Glau<\/strong>, director of the University Writing Program and associate professor of English, and\u00a0<strong>Tracy Glau<\/strong>, specialist at Cline Library, will host their second annual father\/daughter art show during First Friday ArtWalk from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 2 at La Bellavia Restaurant, 18 S Beaver Street in Flagstaff.
