Celebrate and promote the traditions and spirit that make Northern Arizona University great by wearing NAU blue on Fridays.<\/p>\n
The university is launching a web site to blue up campus and is hoping the idea also catches on throughout the Flagstaff community.<\/p>\n
Go to\u00a0www.nau.edu\/trueblue<\/a>\u00a0for NAU True Blue news, a photo gallery and links to purchase NAU gear.<\/p>\n For\u00a0Lauri Anderson<\/strong>, a paralegal in NAU’s Office of Legal Affairs, Fridays are her “chance to unify as a team” and show her NAU pride to the both campus and the community.<\/p>\n “I participate in True Blue Fridays because it’s important to promote spirit and unity in the work place,” Anderson said. “Working at NAU is like being a part of a team\u2014we have individual jobs but we all work together toward a common goal.”<\/p>\n NAU President\u00a0John Haeger<\/strong>\u00a0signed a\u00a0presidential decree<\/a>\u00a0proclaiming Fridays as True Blue Fridays last August.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
