Northern Arizona University, Mesa Community College and Mesa Public Schools have joined forces to create an innovative P-20 Center on MCC’s campus.<\/p>\n
The Mesa P-20 Center will be a landmark effort in which a K-12 district, a community college and a university will offer educational programs in one location.<\/p>\n
Plans for the curriculum at the P-20 center are in the works and include existing programs and the design of new programs that would allow for a grade school to grad school experience for students.<\/p>\n
“Mesa Community College and Northern Arizona University have had a long and successful partnership, and we’re excited to be a part of this innovative project,” said NAU President John Haeger. “Our participation further demonstrates Northern Arizona University’s commitment to bringing affordable and accessible higher education to all of Arizona.”<\/p>\n
Currently, MCC and NAU offer four degree opportunities based in Mesa: Emergency Services Administration (Fire Science), Elementary Education with an ESL content emphasis, Administration of Justice, Interdisciplinary Studies and Interdisciplinary Studies in Public Management.<\/p>\n
