Ongoing social changes and rapid technological advancements are reshaping the disability landscape. Professionals,\u00a0advocates\u00a0and community members are invited to explore practical solutions,\u00a0timely\u00a0topics\u00a0and emerging innovations at the 27th Annual Evidence for Success Disability Conference. The\u00a0event,\u00a0hosted by the Institute for Human Development (IHD) at\u00a0NAU,\u00a0will take place on\u00a0June 23-24, at the Wild Horse Pass Resort in Chandler.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Recognized as one of Arizona\u2019s premier disability-focused gatherings, the conference brings together professionals, educators, service providers, advocates,\u00a0families\u00a0and individuals from\u00a0throughout\u00a0the\u00a0United States.\u00a0This year\u2019s\u00a0event will feature more than 60 educational sessions,\u00a0over\u00a040\u00a0exhibitors\u00a0and a dynamic exhibit hall highlighting assistive technology companies, government\u00a0agencies\u00a0and disability organizations.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s program emphasizes practical tools and forward-looking insights across a wide range of topics, including assistive technology, innovative practices across disability disciplines and vocational rehabilitation and employment\u00a0for Indigenous people. Attendees will also engage with emerging areas such as generative AI,\u00a0cutting-edge\u00a0technologies and disability advocacy and policy through interactive breakout sessions,\u00a0roundtables\u00a0and poster presentations.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOur goal is to provide timely, relevant content\u00a0while remaining as affordable as possible so more members of the disability community can participate,\u201d said IHD\u00a0events\u00a0manager\u00a0<\/span>Adi Schaeffer<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Participants can tailor their experience by selecting sessions aligned with their interests while connecting with more than 300 attendees. Optional pre-conference workshops will be offered June 22, and attendees may earn up to 16 continuing education credit hours.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Flexible options are offered for attendance,\u00a0including full conference access, bundled workshop\u00a0packages\u00a0and single-day attendance.\u00a0Discounted\u00a0rates are\u00a0available\u00a0for students,\u00a0Arizona\u00a0school\u00a0employees\u00a0and family members\u00a0of\u00a0people with disabilities.\u00a0Discounted hotel rooms are available through June 1.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0broader\u00a0community is invited to\u00a0explore the\u00a0exhibit hall and\u00a0attend the\u00a0networking reception, both free,\u00a0on June 23 from 1:30-7\u00a0p.m.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
