Eunson Award Ceremony beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 17, in room 119 of the School of Communication.<\/p>\n<p>Majure will be awarded the 2008 Eunson Alumni Distinguished Achievement Award in Journalism.<\/p>\n<p>Majure&#8217;s 20-year broadcast journalism career includes founding and managing Arizona Capitol Television, a cable television channel operated by the Arizona State Legislature. Majure also has been a longtime executive producer for KAET, the Phoenix-area PBS affiliate, where he oversees the nightly public affairs program,\u00a0<em>Horizon<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Majure has been recognized for his journalistic accomplishments with several Rocky Mountain Emmies as well as Best of the West and Associated Press awards.<\/p>\n<p>Marley Shebala, senior reporter for the\u00a0<em>Navajo Times\u00a0<\/em>and a former news director for KTNN radio on the Navajo Nation, will be keynote speaker during the event.<\/p>\n<p>Michelle Williams, Associated Press Arizona-New Mexico bureau chief, also will make a presentation.<\/p>\n<p>The School of Communication&#8217;s Distinguished Achievement Award in Journalism is named for Robert R.
