(Robertson) Agundez<\/strong>, graduate student in the College of Education, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, in Flagstaff. She was 63.<\/p>\n<p>After earning two associate&#8217;s degrees from Yavapai College, Ms. Agundez enrolled at NAU, where she earned a bachelor&#8217;s degree and was working toward a master&#8217;s degree in special education.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Agundez was born March 19, 1948, in Phoenix to Mary Ruth (Wade) and Harold E. Robertson. She graduated from West High School in Phoenix.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Agundez&#8217;s interests included photography, art, and natural and organic foods. She was a homemaker, an art tutor, and a member of &#8220;English Lace,&#8221; the first all-girl band to play in Las Vegas in the 1960s.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Agundez was preceded in death by her brother Richard Wade Robertson. She is survived by her son Banner (Cara) and daughter Valentino of Los Angeles, Calif.; sister Lori (Leon) Steward of Scottsdale, Ariz.; mother Mary Ruth Ledbetter of Clarkdale, Ariz.; father Harold (Marlene) Robertson of Brighton, Mo.; and six grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>No public services are planned.
