The Parks and Recreation Program in GPD is currently halfway through a 10-week American Sign Language (ASL) course that focuses on signs specific to the recreation profession. Their National Institute Health (NIH) grant application was awarded to determine if the 147 Twin Arrows Casino employees going through an employee wellness program would lead to improved cardiometabolic health and improved oral health, such as reduced severity of gum disease simply by changing one\u2019s diet.
