During her five-year career with the Lumberjacks, Orndoff, who graduated with her master\u2019s degree in communication, scored 922 career points in 104 games. She started 96 of those games, including 76 consecutive starts to end her career, and led the team with 342 points scored last season. In her final year, the three-time Big Sky All-Academic selection averaged 11.0 points per game. Quax placed 114<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">th<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> in the NCAA Cross Country Championships in the fall as the NAU men captured its fifth Division I National Championship. He placed fourth in both the indoor and outdoor 800-meter at the Big Sky Track &amp; Field Championships and 28<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">th<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> in the NCAA West Regional in the 1500-meter. It shows how communities impacted by extraction have employed participatory institutions creatively to block, alter<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> and\/or benefit from extractive projects, though the institutions formally do not grant them these powers.
