The\u00a0<\/span>Native American Cultural Center<\/span><\/a> (NACC) has provided a home and support system for Indigenous students at NAU for the past decade. The university\u2019s desire to continue serving Native American communities has brought more than 1,500 students from over 115 tribes to NAU.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Every November, the NACC joins with the\u00a0<\/span>Office of\u00a0Indigenous Student Success<\/span><\/a>\u00a0(OISS)\u00a0to celebrate Native American Heritage Month\u00a0alongside\u00a0Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, First Nation and Aboriginal students who have found their new home at NAU.\u00a0Located near the Navajo and Hopi reservations,\u00a0NAU\u00a0<\/span>offers\u00a0a variety of events to help students, staff and faculty celebrate and foster awareness of Indigenous cultures and contributions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
