Beginning this fall, the Office of the Fire Marshal and Building Official\u2019s Office will be joining NAU\u2019s Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) department.<\/p>\n
This move will expand the scope of the EHS department to include fire and building code compliance in addition to the already existing areas of construction safety; chemical, biological and occupational safety programs; and environmental compliance.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are excited for the opportunities that this reorganization will present and look forward to\u00a0\u00a0 providing more comprehensive safety and compliance services to our campus community through this new service model,\u201d said Scott Halle<\/strong>, assistant director of Environmental Health and Safety.<\/p>\n These departments have historically collaborated to advance a culture of safety and promote NAU\u2019s Core Safety Values<\/a>.
