Applications for the program open March 1.<\/p>\n<p>In December, NAU\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/nau.edu\/cie\/\">Center for International Education<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/nau.edu\/boundaryless\/\">boundaryless@NAU<\/a> were awarded $25,000 through the 100,000 Strong in America\u2019s program to create a cross-border program with UNISON in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>The Big IDEA will allow 12 students from each university to collaborate on finding solutions to challenges related to financial inclusion and agriculture\/food sustainability in a four-phase project. Students will work in six four-student teams alongside faculty advisers from both schools to create a product or service that addresses a specific issue affecting the region.<\/p>\n<p>The program is open to undergraduate students regardless of major.
