This year, consider donating to the Santa\u2019s Sleigh Fund. For 25 years, the Santa\u2019s Sleigh Fund has given approximately $50,000 to Northern Arizona University employees to assist them in times of need.<\/p>\n
The purpose of the fund is to provide small, one-time monetary gifts to full-time NAU employees facing severe financial hardships or personal tragedies. In the past, it has been used for children\u2019s Christmas presents, doctor bills, cancer treatment and rent. Though its name suggests gifting money around Christmas time, the fund is available to help employees year-round when funds allow.<\/p>\n
Donations can be made on the NAU Foundation, Santa\u2019s Sleigh Fund #4936 website<\/a>.
