The event will provide updates on the state of climate action for Northern Arizona University and Flagstaff communities.<\/p>\n<p>Representing NAU, associate professor of earth and sustainability <strong>Erik Nielsen<\/strong> and sustainability manager of Facility Services <strong>Matthew Muchna<\/strong> will provide updates on developing NAU\u2019s Climate Action Plan. <strong>Christina Sh<\/strong><strong>\u00e4del<\/strong>, assistant research professor of biological sciences, along with doctoral student <strong>Megan Foley<\/strong>, will highlight Ecoss\u2019s Carbon Offsets Program. Additionally, speakers will be joined by climate engagement coordinator Jillian Goulet and Ramon Alatorre from the City of Flagstaff\u2019s Sustainability Program to provide updates on the Climate Emergency Declaration.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone from Flagstaff or the NAU community is invited to attend.
