The event will take place from 6-8 p.m. on Oct. 20.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to testing, participants will be asked to apply the principles of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cpted.net\/\">Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED)<\/a>, which addresses crime prevention through uses and management of urban and architectural design, both human-made and naturally occurring. Any observed obstructions to the blue phones such as overgrown trees, placement of physical barriers and environmental lighting should be reported.<\/p>\n<p>Interested participants are asked to arrive at 5:45 p.m. on Oct. 20 at the Liberal Arts Building (building 18), Room 120.
