Constraints from laboratory spectroscopy and mid-infrared observations.\u201d The project will investigate the effects of porosity and grain size on mid-infrared spectra of olivine, pyroxene and serpentine. Results will analyze Spitzer Space Telescope spectra of Trojan asteroids.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Melinda Smith<\/strong>, interdisciplinary health doctoral student and research assistant with the Center for Health Equity Research, was awarded the Louis H. and Betty J. Quayle Scholarship worth $7,000 for the 2020-21 academic year. Eligible recipients are graduate students enrolled as members of a U.S. federally recognized tribe who maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Smith is a member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes and grew up on the Flathead Reservation in northwest Montana.<\/li>\n<li>Football players <strong>Luis Aguilar<\/strong>, <strong>DJ Arnson<\/strong> and <strong>Brandon Porter<\/strong> earned more preseason honors and were named to the 2020 Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-American Team.
