Yaw\u2019s study is titled, \u201cAccent Familiarity Training on Listener Processing of L2 Accented Speech\u201d and Dalman\u2019s study is titled, \u201cOnline-Based Intelligibility Instruction for Second Language Learners.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>The NAU women\u2019s tennis team earned All-Academic Team honors awarded by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. In addition, all eight members of the team\u2014<strong>Elinor Beazley<\/strong>, <strong>Mimi Bland<\/strong>, <strong>Emilie Haakansson<\/strong>, <strong>Ellie Millard<\/strong>, <strong>Madi Moore<\/strong>, <strong>Sydney Roman<\/strong>, <strong>Adrianna Sosnowska<\/strong> and <strong>Chiara Tomasetti<\/strong>\u2014were named ITA Scholar-Athletes for earning a minimum GPA of 3.5 during the academic year.<\/li>\n<li>The NAU football team had several members receive honors. Kickers <strong>Luis Aguilar<\/strong> and <strong>DJ Arnson<\/strong> were named to the 2020 Big Sky Football Preseason All-Conference Team. Aguilar, Arnson and <strong>Brandon Porter<\/strong> were named to Phil Steele\u2019s Preseason All-Big Sky First Team. <strong>Stacy Chukwumezie, Justin Hathoot<\/strong>, <strong>Donovan Outlaw<\/strong>, <strong>Luke Rudolph<\/strong> and <strong>Carson Taylor<\/strong> earned Phil Steele All-Big Sky Third Team honors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"search-results-excerpt-link\" href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/student-spotlight-july-31-2020\/\">Kudos to these students Do you have a spotlight item to share with the NAU community?
