This is her second consecutive year earning a postseason honor from ITA and her peak ranking of No. 44 in the NCAA Division I Women Rankings is the highest in NAU program history.<\/li>\n<li>Doctoral student <strong>Heather Mead<\/strong> was the first author on the article titled \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.frontiersin.org\/articles\/10.3389\/fgene.2020.00483\/full?&amp;utm_source=Email_to_authors_&amp;utm_medium=Email&amp;utm_content=T1_11.5e1_author&amp;utm_campaign=Email_publication&amp;field=&amp;journalName=Frontiers_in_Genetics&amp;id=538641\">Defining Critical Genes During Spherule Remodeling and Endospore Development in the Fungal Pathogen, <em>Coccidioides posadasii<\/em><\/a>\u201d published in Evolutionary and Genomic Microbiology.
