This is the 12<sup>th<\/sup> award of her career and she ranks No. 45 nationally. Tomasetti and junior <strong>Ellie Millard<\/strong> also moved to No. 1 in doubles, up from NAU\u2019s primary No. 2 tandem team.<\/li>\n<li>The W. A. Franke College of Business ProSell team of freshman <strong>Angel Desiderio<\/strong>; sophomore <strong>Matt Hipps<\/strong>; juniors <strong>Michael Luque<\/strong> and<strong> Taryn Lee;<\/strong> and seniors <strong>Davin Lile<\/strong>, <strong>Lily Pacheco<\/strong>, <strong>Mystery-Lynn Freitas<\/strong> and <strong>Sierra Nordberg<\/strong> participated in the Southwest Collegiate Sales Competition, hosted by Arizona State University and Pacific Office Automation. Coached by associate professor <strong>Kevin Trainor<\/strong> and faculty member <strong>Jana Carpenter<\/strong>, the team competed in a three-round role play event and won a two-round speed selling competition with special recognition to Nordberg for her outstanding performance.<\/li>\n<li>NAU men\u2019s basketball team\u2019s top three scorers\u2014sophomore <strong>Cameron Shelton<\/strong>, junior <strong>Bernie Andre<\/strong> and senior <strong>Brooks DeBisschop<\/strong>\u2014earned all-conference Big Sky honors.\n<ul>\n<li>Shelton earned his first career All-Big Sky accolade with a spot on the Third Team. He was the only player in the Big Sky to average at least 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game in league action.<\/li>\n<li>Andre, a Third Team honoree last season, was named Honorable Mention.<\/li>\n<li>DeBisschop was named to the Third Team, his first career Big Sky accolade. He averaged 13.3 points, 8.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game in conference play. Additionally, DeBisschop became the first NAU men\u2019s basketball player voted to the CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team. He joins as the 12<sup>th<\/sup> NAU student-athlete to be named to the All-America First Team in their sport.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Two art education seniors published pieces in the ClipCard section of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.davisart.com\/schoolarts\/issues\/2020\/contemporary-art\/\">SchoolArts<\/a>.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Carly Arechiga<\/strong> published, \u201cBuilding a Bug House,\u201d meant for early childhood where students create an imaginary home for a bug using air-dry clay.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Chelsea Thompson<\/strong> published, \u201cImaginary Transportation,\u201d geared toward middle schoolers where students trace and transform a shoe into an imagined mode of transportation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Four NAU women\u2019s basketball players were honored on the Big Sky\u2019s all-conference teams and as individual award winners.\n<ul>\n<li>Junior <strong>Khiarica Rasheed<\/strong> earned a spot on the All-Big Sky First Team. She is the No. 7 leading scorer in NAU history with 16.8 points per game.<\/li>\n<li>Junior <strong>Jacey Bailey<\/strong> earned a spot on the Second Team. She averages 14.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per game putting her in the top 10 of the league in both categories.<\/li>\n<li>Junior <strong>Caitlin Malvar<\/strong> earned Honorable Mention. She holds the Big Sky\u2019s second-highest scoring offense and ranks among the nation\u2019s best in assists and assist-to-turnover ratio.<\/li>\n<li>Sophomore <strong>Nina Radford<\/strong> earned the Big Sky\u2019s Newcomer of the Year award. She averages 11.9 points per game shooting 39.6 percent from long distance and 87.9 percent at the free throw line.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tyler Day<\/strong>, senior cross country distance runner, was honored as the Mountain Region Men\u2019s Track Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
