NAU\u2019s online bachelor\u2019s degree offers two areas of emphasis: intelligence studies or criminal justice administration.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.collegefactual.com\/colleges\/northern-arizona-university\/news\/northern-arizona-university-2020-college-diversity-ranking\/\">College Factual<\/a> ranked <strong>Northern Arizona University<\/strong> No. 8 out of 27 Arizona colleges in their 2020 Diversity Rankings. NAU also is in the top 15 percent of all schools for diversity in the country. Age, gender, race and location of origin for each school\u2019s student population were taken into consideration.<\/li>\n<li>Visual communication professor <strong>Rodrigo de Toledo<\/strong> is a 2020 Viola Award Finalist for Excellence in Visual art for his exhibition, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/flagartscouncil.org\/2020\/01\/rodrigo-de-toledo-for-the-myth-of-the-incomplete-self-a-psycho-archaeological-codex\/\">Myth of the Incomplete Self: A Psycho-Archaeological Codex<\/a>.\u201d The exhibit, accompanied by a book and dance performance, reinvents ancient and modern symbols into de Toledo\u2019s own context. His work was debuted in 2019 at the Coconino Center for the Arts and will travel to the Mesa Museum of Contemporary Arts, opening in May 2020.<\/li>\n<li>School of Art lecturer <strong>Barbara Ryan Gartin<\/strong> was featured in an article published in Flag Live. \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/azdailysun.com\/flaglive\/full_frontal\/art_of\/on-book-binding-the-art-of-the-tangible\/article_20e3e07d-a8b0-56d7-afa4-53ee8f68b00d.html\">On book binding: The art of the tangible<\/a>\u201d explores the art and history of bookbinding.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jaewook Lee<\/strong>, assistant professor in the School of Art, is exhibiting a new video work, entitled, \u201cA.I. 632: Design Around Table,\u201d in a group show at the Mudeung Gallery in Gwangju, South Korea. The exhibit runs from Jan. 13 to Feb. 12.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Julie Comnick<\/strong>, lecturer in the School of Art, presented the New York City debut of \u201cArrangement for a Silent Orchestra\u201d at the Long Island City Factory. The exhibit was a 5,000-square-foot gallery featuring paintings and video and orchestra size sculptural installations of altered music stands.
