In an 88-80 home victory against Seattle, Radford racked up 17 points, seven rebounds and five assists. This marks her second game as a Lumberjack after transferring from University of California, Santa Barbara and redshirting last season. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
- Senior cross country runner Geordie Beamish<\/strong>\nwas named Men\u2019s Athlete of the Year in the Mountain region by the U.S. Track\n& Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association. Beamish won the individual\ntitle at the Mountain Region Championships, where he covered 10 kilometers in\n30 minutes, 25.6 seconds. The team will compete at the NCAA Division I National\nChampionships Saturday in Terre Haute, Indiana. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
- NAU\u2019s Professional Selling Program<\/strong>\nstudents tied for first place in the qualifying round at the International\nCollegiate Sales Competition. The team advanced to the Sales Management Case\ncompetition finals in Orlando. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

In two NAU road victories against Montana and Montana State, Harris averaged 3.9 kills per set and hit at 33 percent. This marks the first Player of the Week award she has received this season and the fourth of her career.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
- NAU Yuma social work student Audra Attaway<\/strong>\nwon the undergraduate Carl F. Scott book scholarship. She began working with\nCommunity Health Associates, North End Community Connections in September. In the\nprogram, Attaway worked with intake assessors, case managers and medical staff\nto facilitate smooth reentry of individuals from the justice system into the\ncommunity from being on probation or parole. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

- Football player Aaron Andrews <\/strong>and volleyball player Abby Stomp<\/strong> received nominations for the 2019 Academic All-District Team. Andrews started all 10 games for the Lumberjacks this season, accumulating 32 tackles including four tackles-for-loss, all while maintaining a 3.55 grade point average in communication studies. Stomp accumulated 601 assists and has started in 23 of 26 matches thus far this season. Those nominated for the all-district team are put on the ballot for the All-American team, which will be announced in December. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
