Tomasetti ended the spring 2019 season ranked No. 110. This is the highest ranking of her career in collegiate tennis. Tomasetti also won the Bedford Cup title in the first fall tournament for the NAU women\u2019s tennis team.\u00a0<\/li><li><strong>Annika Gustafsson<\/strong>, Ph.D. student in astronomy and planetary sciences, presented at the\u00a0&#8220;New Cometary Insights from the Close Approach of 46P\/Wirtanen: A Symposium in Celebration of Mike A&#8217;Hearn,&#8221; located in Maryland.\u00a0<\/li><li>The Phoenix chapter of the Public Relations Society of America honored communication student\u00a0<strong>Jasmine Black<\/strong> during its annual Copper Anvil Awards program on Sept. 10. She received the chapter\u2019s annual PRSSA student scholarships.<\/li><li>NAU\u2019s <strong>men cross country team<\/strong> is ranked No. 1 in the latest\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ustfccca.org\/2019\/09\/featured\/2019-ncaa-di-mens-cross-country-national-coaches-poll-week-1\">U.S. Track &amp; Field and Cross Country Coaches Association National Coaches Poll<\/a>.
