On- and off-campus organizations are encouraged to enter\nfloats in NAU\u2019s Homecoming parade to help celebrate 120 years of academic\nexcellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The annual parade, presented by the Blue Key Honor Society, will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 26. Participating floats are encouraged to show their spirit with blue and gold gear and rev up the crowd with music before the highly anticipated game against Portland State. Local high school bands, community and student organizations, alumni, Homecoming royalty and the Homecoming Dedicatee will all be there to represent and cheer on the Lumberjacks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Floats should include a banner to identify the organization\nand a unique, respectable way to engage NAU\u2019s fans. The route will run the\nnorthern perimeter of campus and wrap up a week\u2019s worth of Homecoming events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Interested organizations can attend a parade informational\nsession at 6 p.m. on Oct. 10. Applications for floats must be submitted online<\/a> by Oct. 15.\nParticipating floats are expected to arrive for staging no later than 9:30 a.m.\nthe day of the parade.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
