The presentation is about aerosol transport in human lung airways and is in collaboration with the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and Northeastern University. Arzani also was the chair for the \u201cPatient-specific flow and physiology\u201d session at the conference. <\/li><li>The <strong>women\u2019s swimming and diving program<\/strong> was recognized by the College Swimming and Diving Association (CSCAA) as a Scholar All-America Team for the 2019 spring semester. The team earned an overall semester grade point average of 3.44 and has posted a GPA of 3.2 or better in every semester since spring 2006. <\/li><li>NAU Yuma social work students including <strong>Ilian Figueroa<\/strong>, <strong>Brideyda Garcia<\/strong> and <strong>Joanna Rojas<\/strong> are partnering with the Housing Authority City of Yuma to assist families in need. The department partnered with the Housing Authority City of Yuma to match student interns with families in need. As part of the program, Figueroa, Garcia and Rojas interned at the Community Resource Center in the Mesa Heights Apartment complex. Their work was featured in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yumasun.com\/news\/student-interns-work-with-families-at-mesa-heights-complex\/article_da3d82b6-8a43-11e9-944c-8b2e13eb2157.html\">Yuma Sun article<\/a> this month.<\/li><li>Thirty-six student-athletes made the Big Sky Spring All-Academic List, bringing the athletic department\u2019s total to 122 for the 2018-19 season. To qualify for the awards, students must have participated in at least half of their team\u2019s competitions, achieved a 3.2 cumulative GPA at the conclusion of the most recent term and completed at least one academic term at NAU.
