Day is the NCAA Division I and Big Sky Conference leader in the men&#8217;s 5000-meter run after his race at the Payton Jordan Invitational with a time of 13:25.06. He also has the fifth best time in the 10,000-meter run in the NCAA Division I at 28:24.94.<\/li><li>Engineering students <strong>Jason Luque<\/strong> and <strong>Jenny Lawson<\/strong> received a National Science Foundation Research (NSF) Experiences for Undergraduates Award in conjunction with the NSF CRII Research Initiation Award given to assistant professor of mechanical engineering <strong>Zach Lerner <\/strong>and NAU\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/biomech.nau.edu\/\">Biomechatronics Lab<\/a>.
