This semester, about 5,900 students applied to graduate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commencement\nceremonies will open 90 minutes prior to their start time in the J. Lawrence\nWalkup Skydome. As with all events in the Skydome, NAU has a <a href=\"https:\/\/nau.edu\/clear-bag-policy\/\">clear\nbag policy<\/a>.\nParking is available at multiple locations across campus, with shuttle services\nto and from parking lots. Other information is available at <a href=\"https:\/\/nau.edu\/commencement\/\">NAU\u2019s commencement website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commencement\nceremonies will recognize candidates for bachelor\u2019s, masters and doctoral\ndegrees at the following dates and times: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>May 10<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>11 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>College\nof Engineering, Informatics, and Applied Sciences<\/li><li>College\nof the Environment, Forestry, and Natural Sciences<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>4 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>College\nof Education<\/li><li>The\nW. A. Franke College of Business<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>May 11<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>College\nof Social &amp; Behavioral Sciences<\/li><li>NAU\nOnline, NAU Yavapai, NAU Yuma<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>3 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>College\nof Arts &amp; Letters<\/li><li>College\nof Health &amp; Human Services<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nspeakers, who will receive honorary doctorates to celebrate their achievements,\nare:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Richard Boals, <\/strong>who served in the U.S. Air Force\nbefore becoming CEO of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Arizona and continues to\nvolunteer on multiple community boards.<\/li><li><strong>Leigh\nKuwanwisiwma<\/strong>, a member of the Hopi Tribe and an\nNAU alumnus who has been central in representing the Hopi interests in national and international legal\nissues, government-to-government consultations, academic inquiries and\ncommunity outreach.<\/li><li><strong>Kareem\nNeal, <\/strong>2019 Arizona Teacher of the Year, a veteran special education\nteacher and vice president of the Phoenix Union High School District\u2019s Black\nAlliance.<\/li><li><strong>Steve\nSanghi, <\/strong>who has led Arizona-based Microchip Technology since 1990,\nis one of the longest-serving CEOs in the United States and has twice won\nExecutive of the Year award by Electronic Engineering Times.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All ceremonies will be available for livestream on the <a href=\"https:\/\/nau-tv.com\/Events\/\">NAU-TV<\/a> website.
