There will be a\u00a0book signing from 5-8 p.m. on Dec. 7 at Brightside Bookstore and another one Dec. 8 at Barnes &amp; Noble.<\/li>\n<li>Physical therapy professor<strong> Karen Mueller<\/strong> was awarded the 2019 Northwestern University Department of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences Alumni Association\u2019s Research Achievement Award. Mueller is chair of the American Physical Therapy Association Oncology Section and Palliative Care Special Interest Group and serves on the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization Rehabilitation Therapy Steering Committee.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bill Carter<\/strong>, assistant professor of practice for creative media and film, created the short film, \u201cThe Resilience of Hopi Agriculture: 2,000 Years of Painting,\u201d with collaboration from Michael Johnson, a Ph.D. student from the University of Arizona. The film focuses on Johnson as he explains his farming methods, the link between past and present and the importance of culturally based farming.
