A variety of personal and professional development workshops will be taught by NAU faculty and staff from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 23. Sessions will be held in The W. A. Franke College of Business, Rolle Activity Center and SBS Castro buildings.<\/p>\n<p>The event, \u201cPathway to Excellence: Develop U,\u201d will offer 60-minute courses throughout the day on more than 40 topics. The classes repeat in the morning and afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s sessions include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Generation College Student Experience<\/li>\n<li>Promoting Inclusive Classrooms<\/li>\n<li>What is Personalized Learning at NAU?<\/li>\n<li>Empathy Fatigue Solution<\/li>\n<li>Creating Assistive Technology Friendly Documents<\/li>\n<li>Got Stress?<\/li>\n<li>The Psycho-Somatics of Confidence<\/li>\n<li>O.O Your Way Around<\/li>\n<li>CPR and First Aid Tips Workshop<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Morning and afternoon sessions will be separated by a lunch break. During this time a service fair will be hosted in the Franke College of Business, Mountain Line will host a demonstration and route planning session and field day events will happen on the south quad. Local Hits 106.1 will provide music and prizes during this time.<\/p>\n<p>Employees can register on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www7.nau.edu\/hr\/edd\">Human Resources website<\/a>\u00a0now through 5 p.m. May 17. Those who register will have lunch provided in the Franke College of Business.
