Mullins was previously president and CEO of Samaritan Health Services for 25 years. Mullins also recently returned from an Antarctic expedition where he tracked the route of Sir Ernest Shackleton\u2019s expedition, which he uses in leadership training programs at SSI summits.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Claudette C. White<\/strong> was appointed tribal court chief judge of the San Manuel tribe. White previously served as chief judge of the Quechan Indian Tribe for 11 years.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Scott Hanson<\/strong> published\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-50518 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/wordpresst\/uploads\/sites\/153\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Screen-Shot-2018-02-21-at-12.05.37-PM.png\" alt=\"&quot;What's Your Number&quot; book cover\" width=\"251\" height=\"252\" srcset=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/402\/2018\/02\/Screen-Shot-2018-02-21-at-12.05.37-PM.png 251w, https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/402\/2018\/02\/Screen-Shot-2018-02-21-at-12.05.37-PM-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 251px) 100vw, 251px\" \/>the book \u201cWhat\u2019s Your Number?\u201d about retired jersey numbers in Arizona high school sports. The book includes an introduction written by another Northern Arizona University alum, <strong>Stan \u201cThe Man\u201d Hoover<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The Rotary Club of Santa Barbara recently recognized La Colina Junior High performing arts teacher <strong>Shannon Saleh<\/strong> for her outstanding work. Saleh was awarded a plaque and money for her classroom.<\/li>\n<li>Queens University of Charlotte named<strong> Theresa Drew <\/strong>the\u00a02017 Charlotte Business Woman of the Year. This award recognizes women for their significant, sustained contributions to business and community.<\/li>\n<li>Gov. Doug Ducey appointed <strong>Jill Broussard<\/strong> as the newest member of the Arizona State Board of Education. Broussard previously served as the Pinal County School Superintendent<\/li>\n<li><strong>Geri Hongeva<\/strong> was selected as part of the Navajo Hopi Honor Riders Board of Directors. Navajo Hopi Honor Riders ride with motorcyclists from all over the world to support past and present armed forces.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kelley Knutson<\/strong>, W. A. Franke College of Business class of 1981, was appointed as Netspend President by TSYS. Knutson previously served as executive vice president of TSYS and president of International Issuer Solutions since 2003.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Robert Martz<\/strong>, two-time alumni and science teacher at Akimel A-al Middle School, has earned certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.
