The exhibit, which is sponsored by the Black Student Union, Office of Inclusion: Multicultural and LGBTQIA Student Services and the Center for International Education, offers a glimpse into Flagstaff\u2019s African-American history.<\/p>\n
\u201cFlagstaff: South of the Tracks\u201d is open in the International Pavilion Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays 2-10 p.m. and Sundays 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. now through Feb. 28.<\/p>\n
The Office of Inclusion: Multicultural and LGBTQIA Student Services<\/a> also will host a lunch and dinner series to celebrate Black History Month. The event will be held in the Hot Spot every Thursday during the month. Students can experience culinary traditions from African, Caribbean, Creole and Southern African-American influences with student performances at 12:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. every Thursday.<\/p>\n Those without a meal plan may purchase tickets for $8 from University Union room 105 or from the ticket booth in front of the Hot Spot. Money from ticket sales will be used to create a scholarship fund for underrepresented students through the NAU Foundation.<\/a><\/p>\n For information on more Black History Month events, visit The Center for University Access and Inclusion website.<\/a><\/p>\n
