This celebration of student achievement will feature more than 1,000 students from all colleges showcasing exhibits and presenting research to peers, professors and the Flagstaff community.<\/p>\n<p>The symposium will highlight the diversity of students\u2019 experiences with more than 500 posters and 240 presentations from painting exhibitions and service learning projects to more traditional research.<\/p>\n<p>Faculty and staff are encouraged to inform students about this opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot many undergraduates get the chance to participate in such a prestigious event,\u201d said Tina Zecher, senior program coordinator for the Office of Undergraduate Research &amp; Scholarship. \u201cIt demonstrates a commitment to their field of study that reflects positively on the student\u2019s ability to think critically about current ideas and issues.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 2018 Undergraduate Symposium will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Apr. 27 in the J. Lawrence Walkup SkyDome. All events are free and open to the public.
