{"id":49976,"date":"2017-12-14T09:11:24","date_gmt":"2017-12-14T16:11:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/?p=49976"},"modified":"2017-12-14T11:05:11","modified_gmt":"2017-12-14T18:05:11","slug":"student-technology-center","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/student-technology-center\/","title":{"rendered":"NAU&#8217;s Student Technology Center moving to Cline Library"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Information Technology Services and Cline Library announced the launch of the new\u00a0<strong>Student Technology Center at Cline Library<\/strong>, a combined service focused on technology resources and assistance for students beginning Jan. 13.<\/p>\n<p>Originally located in the duBois Center basement, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nau.edu\/stc\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=https:\/\/nau.edu\/stc&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1513351224964000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGvJpiO3K6Jh95lrb0aTeFrdFJxeQ\">Student Technology Center <\/a>(STC) will be combining services with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/library.nau.edu\/services\/tech_desk.html\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=https:\/\/library.nau.edu\/services\/tech_desk.html&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1513351224964000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGjS45HBoqcqDPJO2mQTKysws6lNA\">Cline Library Tech Desk<\/a>\u00a0to establish an area for student learning and innovation, while providing support for NAU applications such as\u00a0BBLearn and LOUIE, computer repair,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/library.nau.edu\/services\/makerlab\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/library.nau.edu\/services\/makerlab\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1513351224964000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHVebYtxxuHPbuahjRqyufmVFETLw\">MakerLab<\/a>\u00a0support,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nau.edu\/its\/services\/resnet\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=https:\/\/nau.edu\/its\/services\/resnet\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1513351224964000&amp;usg=AFQjCNEI_9MTEWlGJ6YOw4SQ6VXxd7tCcQ\">ResNet<\/a>\u00a0and NAU wireless connectivity assistance, software consultations and more.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis strategic and collaborative partnership between ITS and Cline Library will strengthen and expand the technology support offered to our students,\u201d said\u00a0<strong>Suzanne Hanks<\/strong>, team lead for the STC. \u201cWe\u2019re excited to join the lineup of services for students offered in the library.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0STC will match Cline Library\u2019s hours during the spring semester, and phone support will still be available 24\/7 at (928) 523-9294.<\/p>\n<p>Faculty and staff technology support will continue to be provided by the ITS Solution Center with full support Monday through Friday from 8 a.m to 5 p.m. and limited support after hours and weekends at (928) 523-1511.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"search-results-excerpt-link\" href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/student-technology-center\/\">Information Technology Services and Cline Library announced the launch of the new\u00a0Student Technology Center at Cline Library, a combined service focused on technology resources and assistance for students beginning Jan. 13.
