The last day to donate to United Way of Northern Arizona\u2019s annual campaign is Dec. 15, and faculty and staff are encouraged to give.<\/p>\n
Northern Arizona University and United Way of Northern Arizona<\/strong><\/a> (UWNA) have been working together for 50 years to support the Flagstaff community and are hoping to continue this tradition through donations raised in this year\u2019s United Way campaign.<\/p>\n President Rita Cheng <\/strong>and her husband, Tom Cheng<\/strong>, who were co-chairs of last year\u2019s campaign, encouraged NAU faculty and staff to contribute to UWNA\u2019s mission to make lasting changes and improve lives.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are eager to continue our support this year and hope you will do the same,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n This year, NAU\u2019s leadership set the pace for the United Way campaign and raised more than $28,000.<\/p>\n UWNA agencies and programs provide critical services to the Flagstaff community, such as a new initiative focusing on children\u2019s education.
