It\u2019s not every day you get to walk in a parade, but\u00a0here’s your chance.<\/p>\n
Come show your True Blue spirit and walk alongside Louie the Lumberjack and members of the Northern Arizona University community as they represent the university in the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce\u2019s annual Independence Day parade in downtown Flagstaff at 9 a.m. July 4.<\/p>\n
The traditions of the parade\u2019s activities include participants tossing toy basketballs, footballs and soccer balls into the crowd of more than 10,000 spectators. In addition, NAU representatives will join the handmade floats, musicians, clowns, cowboys and cowgirls, antique cars, politicians and children scrambling for free candy.<\/p>\n
