{"id":47641,"date":"2017-05-30T10:07:58","date_gmt":"2017-05-30T17:07:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/?p=47641"},"modified":"2017-06-01T14:10:47","modified_gmt":"2017-06-01T21:10:47","slug":"summer-seminar-series","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/summer-seminar-series\/","title":{"rendered":"Politics, space exploration and music take center stage at NAU&#8217;s Summer Seminar Series"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The politics of Russia, Turkey and science; the intersection of race and pop culture; the possibility of other life-sustaining planets; and middle-aged mortality all are on the agenda for Northern Arizona University\u2019s annual\u00a0Summer\u00a0Seminar Series.<\/p>\n<p>The weekly seminars, which the <a href=\"https:\/\/nau.edu\/cal\/welcome\/\">College of Arts and Letters<\/a>\u00a0(CAL) and the <a href=\"https:\/\/nau.edu\/sbs\/\">College of Social and Behavioral Sciences<\/a> (SBS) host, allow for interested Flagstaff and NAU community members to hear from experts on a variety of topics, with opportunities for questions and discussion.
