The university will host a visit Oct. 16-17, with a team representing the Higher Learning Commission. NAU has been accredited by HLC since 1930. The team will review the institutions ongoing ability to meet HLC&#8217;s criteria for accreditation.<\/p>\n<p>The public is invited to submit comments regarding the university to the following address:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Public comment on Northern Arizona University<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Higher Learning Commission<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>230 South LaSalle Street, Suite 7-500<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Chicago, IL 60604-1411<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The public may also submit comments on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hlcommission.org\/HLC-Institutions\/third-party-comment.html\"><strong>HLC&#8217;s website<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution or its academic programs.
