The proposal included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintaining the university\u2019s Pledge program for the 10th straight year, resulting in no tuition increase for 98 percent of continuing undergraduate students on the Flagstaff campus.<\/li>\n<li>A one-year moratorium on new fees and fee increases, with the exception of an increase to the existing Honors Program fee that corresponds with the development of NAU\u2019s new Honors College.<\/li>\n<li>Moving to one undergraduate and one graduate credit hour base rate structure for students enrolled in NAU online.<\/li>\n<li>A 2.6 percent increase for new undergraduate residents on the Flagstaff campus, and a 2.9 percent increase for new nonresident undergraduates on the Flagstaff campus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/nau-tuition-proposal\/\">A complete list of the proposed tuition changes of NAU\u2019s campuses throughout the state can be viewed online.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Northern Arizona University will hold an interactive tuition hearing via videoconference in conjunction with the Arizona Board of Regents, Arizona State University and the University of Arizona from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 28.<\/p>\n<p>The NAU hearing will be conducted in Flagstaff in the Babbitt Administration Center, Room 206 and in Yuma at NAU-Yuma\u2019s Academic Complex (AC), Room 111. \u00a0The hearing also will be streamed\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/nau-tv.com\/Event\/Id\/286\/\">online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Regents will accept comments via e-mail to the Arizona Board of Regents at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:tuition@azregents.edu\">tuition@azregents.edu<\/a>; by regular mail at 2020 N.
