The NAU homepage and select other pages\u00a0can be viewed online.<\/a><\/p>\n\u201cThe website is one piece of the university\u2019s overall digital strategy, which includes search engine optimization, audience-centric communications, and of course the ability to present the university\u2019s strengths in a dynamic and competitive environment,\u201d President<\/strong> Rita Cheng<\/strong> said. \u201cThat\u2019s why we have taken great care to ensure we are paying attention to all the details.\u201d<\/p>\nIn addition to the website featuring bold, bright colors, vivid imagery and a stationary menu bar that makes navigating the site easy, the new platform is mobile-friendly.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn this day and age, in order to stay competitive, it\u2019s important to take advantage of new technology that reflects the vision of our institution. It is time NAU\u2019s website looked to the future,\u201d Cheng said.<\/p>\n
The president thanked the campus community for its support and feedback throughout this project and expressed appreciation to the web development team and support staff, led by Carla Andrews-O\u2019Hara, <\/strong>chief marketing officer, and Steve Burrell<\/strong>, chief information officer, who worked hard to bring this project to life.<\/p>\n\u201cThis is just the beginning. Our team will continue to work on an aggressive timeline to build NAU\u2019s image in hopes of streamlining our digital brand platform,\u201d Cheng said. \u201cI am truly excited about the work that has taken place so far and look forward to next steps.\u201d<\/p>\n
