The award recognizes women who are emerging business leaders and serve as a role model for other women.<\/li>\n<li>NAU&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Health Science Program<\/strong> was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bestcolleges.com\/features\/best-online-bachelors-health-sciences-programs\/\">recently ranked No. 7 in Best Online Colleges list of online bachelor\u2019s degrees<\/a>. The ranking notes the program\u2019s flexible online delivery, the student&#8217;s ability to transfer of up to 90 lower division credits and the fact that academic advising is offered by phone and online.<\/li>\n<li>Regents\u2019 Professor <strong>Zachary Smith<\/strong> recently presented a paper entitled \u201cRethinking Sustainability: Origins and Misuse\u201d at the <a href=\"http:\/\/onsustainability.com\/2017-conference\">International Conference on Sustainability<\/a> in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. &#8220;Often times, sustainability as a word is associated with activities that do not have positive environmental outcomes. My\u00a0paper highlights some of these problems and then examines how different disciplines interpret sustainability and categorize their activities as being sustainable or non sustainable,&#8221; Smith said.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tobias Kreidl<\/strong>, Academic Computing Team Lead with Information Technology Services, recently received an award renewal to the select Citrix Technology Professional (CTP) program, which\u00a0recognizes the contributions of individuals who have invested significant time and resources to become experts in Citrix products and solutions.\u00a0<span class=\"s1\">The program is limited to 50 members worldwide. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citrix.com\/community\/ctp\/awardees.html\">A full list of\u00a0award recipients can be viewed online.<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"search-results-excerpt-link\" href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/spotlight-feb-2-2017\/\">Kudos to these faculty and staff Do you have a spotlight item to share with the NAU community?
