The event, which featured keynote speaker Jake Wood of Team Rubicon USA, celebrated more than four decades of environmental stewardship and recognized the organization\u2019s accomplishments. Individuals who received\u00a0leadership awards have made significant contributions to the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Northern Arizona University\u2019s<strong>\u00a0Hospitality Management<\/strong>\u00a0was recently ranked No. 4 in College Choice\u2019s list of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.collegechoice.net\/rankings\/best-online-bachelors-in-hospitality-management\/\"><strong>25 Best Online Bachelor\u2019s in Hospitality Management for 2017<\/strong><\/a>. In addition to the university\u2019s regional accreditation for every\u00a0degree program, NAU has received a secondary accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration\u2014a prestigious status held by less than 20 percent of hospitality programs nationwide.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Margot Saltonstall,\u00a0<\/strong>vice president of\u00a0enrollment management and student affairs,\u00a0was featured in an interview on Academic Impressions titled &#8220;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.academicimpressions.com\/news\/retention-strategy-what-hold-us-back?mkt_tok=eyJpIjoiTXpWaE5tWTFZVGhsWW1JeiIsInQiOiJtTzQxWEtDUTQyTW5FYUd\">Retention Strategy: What Holds Us Back?<\/a><\/strong>&#8220;. In the interview, Saltonstall and several experts expressed their views on student retention and how institutions should shift their thinking to support student persistence and completion.<\/li>\n<li>Assistant Professor of Practice\u00a0<strong>Eric O\u2019Connell\u00a0<\/strong>was recently featured on Texas NPR affiliates for a project he photographed titled\u00a0\u201cCowboys: East Germany.\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ericoconnell.com\/\"><strong>O\u2019Connell\u2019s\u00a0photos<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and short film that make up the project feature\u00a0a subculture in eastern Germany who have adopted and adapted the ways and lifestyle of the American western cowboy.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.texasstandard.org\/stories\/east-germany-has-a-thriving-community-of-cowboys\/\"><strong>The full interview\u00a0can be found\u00a0online<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Instructional designer\u00a0<strong>Flower Darby<\/strong>\u00a0with the e-Learning Center was featured in a nationally distributed video presentation on teaching with technology.\u00a0The presentation, intended to help faculty, addressed how to effectively align technology tools with course learning objectives and intentional problem-solving to select and implement educational technology.
